The Eternaut VFX Breakdown | Netflix
Excited to share this project!
Working on El Eternauta was an incredible opportunity—especially since I’ve always been a fan of Ricardo Darín. It still feels surreal to have been part of it. Huge thanks to the amazing team at Miagui for trusting me with such challenging and rewarding shots.
I learned a lot during this project, particularly about RBD collisions and metallic deformations. My main responsibilities included building the piles of cars that the train collides with in Houdini, as well as setting up the simulation workflows.
The shots I focused on were the early collisions—just before the climactic final crash. It was a technically demanding process, but also a fantastic learning experience.
Here’s the full breakdown (unfortunately, I’m not able to share additional material beyond this)
Thank you so much!!
